Jari Love: Creator of the Get RIPPED! Workout DVD Series, Certified Fitness Instructor & Personal Fitness Trainer
Jari Love is a certified personal trainer and the creator of Get RIPPED!, the multiphase, no-nonsense, full-body workout system designed to help people of any fitness level shed unwanted pounds in just weeks. Jari enjoys spending time with her family, husband Ray and two children. Alison Behie: PhD in Biological Anthropology, Get RIPPED! & AFLCA Certified Fitness Instructor
Fitness has always been part of Alison’s life and 3 years ago a friend introduced Alison to the Get RIPPED! workout program. She has been hooked ever since! As an Anthropology instructor at the University of Calgary, it was a natural fit for Alison to combine her loves of teaching and fitness. In May 2009, she became a certified fitness instructor and began teaching Get RIPPED!, Spin, Step and Bootcamp classes. Alison is also actively involved in personal training and has been training clients of Jari Love Personal Fitness since January 2010, including 2 participants in the Get RIPPED! Bootcamp Celebrity Challenge. Alison’s passion for fitness also spans into nutrition and she has spent many years researching nutrition in primates, which she applies while helping run the Get RIPPED! Bootcamp diet and meal planning seminars. “I am so lucky to get to be part of the bootcamp team – helping people achieve their true potential is the most rewarding job of all!”

Bonnie Caldwell: BEd, BSc, Get RIPPED! & AFLCA Certified Fitness Instructor
Bonnie has had a long standing relationship with fitness - starting with working at one of the first fitness clubs in Lethbridge in, she has continued to explore other ways to keep healthy and strong. From team sports to sea kayaking to becoming a fitness instructor, she loves to try it all! Bonnie stays motivated to be strong and healthy to set a good example (and to keep up with) her 4 teenage children! Her life motto is “do what you love, love what you do” and she exemplifies this as she is passionate about fitness and loves to share this with others. Bonnie is really excited to be a part of the Get RIPPED! Bootcamp instructor roster and looks forward to helping the participants in their own personal fitness journeys.

Brittany Hale: Assistant to Jari Love, BComm Mktg, Get RIPPED! & AFLCA Certified Fitness Instructor & Level 1 Certified BodyMind Nutritionist
Brittany started working with Jari in May 2007 while completing her Bachelors of Commerce degree at the University of Calgary. She has since become a Get RIPPED! Certified fitness instructor and has obtained AFLCA certifications in Resistance Training, Spin, Step and Hi-low Choreography. Featured in one of Jari’s latest DVD projects, Brittany is also involved with personal training and has trained clients in two weight-loss challenges that were followed by a local television station. Brittany is also involved in training sports teams and teaching bootcamp classes for Jari Love's Get RIPPED! Programs. Brittany has also recently obtained certification as a Level 1 BodyMind Nutritionist, and is actively pursuing her Level 2 Certification to help clients and participants reach their health and fitness goals. Additionally, while working as Jari Love’s assistant, Brittany has been able to embrace her passions and participate in a multitude of exciting projects. She continues to work with Jari in the development of programs and new concepts in order to help others achieve success and improve their quality of life!

Bryan Pierard: Can-Fit-Pro Certified Personal Trainer & Civil Engineer
Bryanhas recently become a certified personal trainer through Can-Fit-Pro. He has been actively involved in sports throughout his life and has now decided to turn that passion into a career. As well as being a certified trainer Bryan also has a diploma in Civil Engineering which he obtained from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology where he also works as a part time instructor. He loves teaching others and helping each individual reach their goals and is looking forward to this new challenge.

Darren Travers: PFT, Olympic Lifting & Level 1 Crossfit Certified
For over a decade Darren has been in the health and wellness industry. His passion for physical fitness came right after high school at which point he began following a traditional bodybuilding routine. After reaching what he then thought was his peak, Darren found functional fitness and Olympic lifting. Now Darren incorporates as much bodyweight and free weight exercise into his routines as he can. His tough bootcamp style workouts get quick results and help participants surpass plateaus and add variety to their regimes.

Dean Crowe: Can-Fit-Pro Certified Personal Trainer
Dean started working with Jari in August of 2010. He has been training for more than 35 years in all aspects of fitness, from sports conditioning to bodybuilding to longevity in physical activity. Dean understands family and job commitments and how fitness can enhance a great lifestyle. He stresses that knowledge and perseverance are the key to success. He also believes in drug-free training and to be the best you can be naturally. Dean is a Certified Can-Fit Pro Personal Training Specialist. Dean has also excelled athletically and has placed 1st and 2nd in the Mr. Alberta Body-Building Contest. Dean has also been a City and Provincial Champion in Olympic-Style Wrestling and placed 2nd in the National Championships. Dean’s motto is simple but to the point – “If you have been training, don’t stop; if you haven’t, get started!”

Ellen McRae: Bachelor of Health Science
Ellen has always enjoyed being physically active. Since she was a young girl she loved to play soccer and then quickly added field hockey, rugby, basket-ball, tennis and volleyball to the list of sports that she enjoys. She has always been a runner, competitively as well as casually. Gym class in high school is what hooked her into fitness in a gym environment. She started off in aerobics when she first tried a Tae Bo video and moved onto step, spin, water aerobics, yoga, and pilates during her time at the University of Western Ontario. She came to Calgary in August 2009 to start her second degree in vocal music. She became a big fan of the Get RIPPED! program when she began working at Fitness Plus in May 2010. She enjoys being a trainer and a Get RIPPED! Bootcamp instructor.
Laurie Fownes: BSW, MSc, Get RIPPED! & AFLCA Certified Fitness Instructor
Laurie currently works as a Program Consultant for the Public Health Agency of Canada. Laurie’s involvement in the health field has been fuelled by a belief that health is multidimensional and includes physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional components. Since participating in her first Get RIPPED! class in March of 2004, Laurie has combined her love for athletics and her passion for learning to become a group exercise leader. Since returning to work full time, Laurie seeks to balance her professional life by instructing three Get RIPPED! classes per week and volunteering at the YWCA. If Laurie is not at work or in the gym, she is out exploring the Rocky Mountains and all the wonders of nature with family (and dog Kinta!).
Lesley Tozer: BSW, Get RIPPED! Certified Fitness Instructor & Muay Thai Champion
Lesley's interest in physical fitness began after the birth of her twins. She was looking for a way to better her health, strength and energy level in order to keep up with the kids and to have something for herself outside of the family. After participating in the Get RIPPED! program for some time, Lesley joined the Get RIPPED! team of instructors in the spring of 2007. Most recently Lesley has started competing in triathlons and finds that challenging herself with this endurance sport has mixed up both her fitness level and has kept her body guessing. Lesley loves the competitive aspect of triathlon and that she has the opportunity to compete not only with other fantastic athletes but with herself. So far this year....her first....she has managed to place consistently at the top of her age group and in her most recent races has finished in the top 10 for females! Even better than this is that each and every one of her seven children have participated in a triathlon and are eager to do more! “Lesley’s philosophy: Stronger...Faster....Longer!”
Michelle Milot: BSc. Kin, Get RIPPED! & AFLCA Certified Fitness Instructor
Michelle's enthusiasm for health and wellness shows in everything she does. Her involvement in Group Fitness classes, particularly Get RIPPED! & Spin began in 2004 as a dedicated participant. Michelle rapidly moved her status to an instructor. Michelle's most recent passion began in 2006 when she did her first sprint distance triathlon. Passion for the sport rapidly grew which brought her to competing in Ironman Canada in 2008. In May of 2009 she took on another Ironman in Brazil and took home 2nd place in her category. She has now completed five Ironman’s to date, including the Ironman World Championships! Most recently she competed in Ironman South Africa where she placed 2nd in her age group. Michelle currently works in Calgary as a gym manager, personal trainer and group fitness instructor teaching Get RIPPED!, Spin and Core classes as well as triathlon coaching. Michelle also has a huge passion for helping and inspiring those less fortunate through fitness and triathlon which shoes in her role as Direct of Spirit and Inspirational Events with Mercury Rising Triathlon!
Rachel Skinner: Can-Fit-Pro Certified Fitness Instructor, BodyMind Specialist & Nutrition and Wellness Specialist
Rachel has been a personal trainer, fitness instructor and sports nutritionist for 6 years and loves sharing her knowledge and experiences with others, educating them to live healthier, energetic, fulfilled lives. After losing over 60 lbs. herself, she knows what it feels like to change your entire lifestyle and daily habits. With this experience and by continually furthering her education (she is currently working towards becoming a Registered Holistic Nutritionist), she has been able to help many clients meet their own fitness/health related goals. Rachel has an extensive background in competitive athletics, namely rugby and tri/duathlons and loves the hard work, dedication, and commitment that it takes to compete at high levels. It is amazing what you can achieve with guidance, coaching, education, motivation and the drive to succeed. Practicing yoga is also a huge part of Rachel’s life. She strongly believes that in order to achieve the utmost success, we must strive for balance in the body, mind and spirit though physical activity, nutrition and psychological training.
